New Resources for Acupuncture in Chemical Dependency Treatment The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) formally endorsed acupuncture by developing a TIP (Treatment Improvement Protocol) - "Guidelines for Acupuncture Incorporation into Addiction Treatment Programs." The TIP was in field review and slated for publication in the Fall of 2005. Lacking sufficiency advocacy efforts, however, it never reached fruition. |
